Job Summary:

TheStudio at iHeartMedias is seeking a Animator to join our team in our new fast-paced, collaborative and creative department in Nashville. As an animator, youre great at helping turn ideas into compelling animations. You love to work with a team, take direction well and are eager to learn.

Responsibilities

* Work closely with the Motion Design Director and Associate Creative Director on all visual animations
* Work closely with a project manager and animators to ensure all deadlines are met
* Manage multiple jobs simultaneously
* Create graphically engaging animations
* Present visual concepts and ideas in an organized, compelling, effective manner
* Provide general assistance to the team with ongoing projects
* Knowledge and understanding of typography is essential as well as Cinema 4D
* Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions
* Develop templates and maintain asset libraries for use across multiple projects
* Enhance video content with motion graphics within our video department pipeline
* Ability to work and create independently, but also interpret, execute and improve upon other team members concepts and ideas
* Stay up to date on all necessary programs (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4D)
* Continue to learn new tools and techniques that can be applied to your animations, typography, composition and storytelling abilities

Qualifications

* 5+ years professional experience designing and/or conceptualizing animations for big brands
* Prior experience at advertising agency, production company, or entertainment company a plus
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment
* A professional level knowledge of industry standard design software and tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Cinema 4D
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Must be adept at problem solving and thinking quick on his/her feet
* Strong sense of urgency with sensitivity to time pressures and multiple deadlines
* Strong Type and design skills
* Openness to direction, mentoring and training to improve skills
