WHAT YOULL DO
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Senior IT Business
Analyst within our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics business located in Westbrook, ME.
Primary liaison between the IT and plant personnel. Provides direct support for plant solutions at a specific plant. Works directly with clients and applies IT and business knowledge and experience to develop and understand the business and business requirements to support and solve for technology related business problems. Leads department level initiatives to support and maintain critical plant solutions. May assist in business relationship management, business strategy and planning, portfolio/demand management and project delivery teams.
\- Provides onsite support for plant applications
\- Independently conceives and develops general approaches to support applications
\- Applies and executes standard information systems theories, concepts and techniques to ensure plant systems are functioning as needed
\- Partners with Corporate service providers to investigate and solve incidents and problems. Determines and develops approach to problem resolution
\- On call to address urgent production issues
\- Manages initiatives according to milestones and within budget constraints. Identifies and implements process improvements.
\- May conduct training
\- Work is reviewed for soundness of business judgment and to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved
\- Medium/high complexity work
\- Errors or failure to achieve expected results may result in plant impact or the expenditure of more resources than was planned
\- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures
Works with minimal management direction. Responsible to ensure effective application support for given plant. Guides the efforts of less experienced staff and collaborates with Plant IT at other plants. No budge responsibility. May have indirect team responsibility.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of manufacturing plant support experience including plant automation and information technology solutions. Experience in GMP environment required.

\- high availability architectures (preferred)
\- SQL database (preferred)
\- Laetus application (preferred)
\- XML and transfer protocols (preferred)
\- Authentication protocols (LDAP) (preferred)
\- Development and execution of disaster recovery plans (preferred)
