Summary
This is a Full-Time position on a Post-Surgical unit which serves a variety of post-surgical patients, including all patients recovering from bariatric surgeries.
**Must have one year RN experience in Med/Surg to be considered for a Weekender position.**
This position will be scheduled for three 12-hour Overnight shifts Every Friday through Sunday.
Saint Francis Hospital s Center for Surgical Weight Loss has been designated a Center of Excellence by the American Society of Bariatric Surgery.
This role provides direct clinical patient care.
The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Qualifications:
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Experience
Required: At least 12 months experience as an RN in Med/Surg area.
Certifications
Required: Current RN license to practice in the state of TN.BLS. ACLS within 90 days of start date.
