Job Description
Responsible for planning and managing all activities within the assigned Information Services business unit/area, specifically supporting Enterprise Content Services and document management platforms. This includes oversight of multiple application development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts utilizing a mix of technologies, including IBM FileNet, CMOD, DataCap, and related content storage and workflow solutions, across client/server, web, intranet, and mainframe environments.
This role leads a team responsible for managing enterprise document storage, customer communications, and workflow automation, including platforms such as DocuSign, Intellective search, ServiceNow Financial Services Operations (FSO), and Synergy cold storage systems.
The IT Application Manager ensures alignment with enterprise architecture and drives a shift toward scalable, standardized solutions while reducing custom-built processes.
Team Culture
Our mission is to empower our company, teammates and customers through the delivery of resilient and customer-centric technology. We achieve this by leveraging our expertise in technology and deep understanding of our business units.
How You'll Spend Your Time
• You will lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team, driving accountability, performance, and professional growth through effective coaching and feedback
• You will anticipate and identify issues inhibiting goal attainment and implement corrective actions, with a focus on improving process discipline and operational consistency
• You will contribute to the development of annual business application system plans and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and scalable design practices
• You will drive modernization efforts by transitioning from custom-built solutions to standardized, enterprise platforms (“building highways, not driveways”)
• You will partner with business and technical stakeholders to facilitate discussions, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions that support document management, workflow automation, and customer communication platforms
• You will manage vendor relationships—particularly with IBM and related platform providers—ensuring effective delivery, support, and optimization of enterprise systems
• You will represent the unit in mergers and acquisitions, operational initiatives, and governance committees related to technology, products, and enterprise platforms
• You will evaluate proposals, guide solution design, and support the introduction of new technologies, including emerging AI-enabled workflow capabilities within ServiceNow
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Science, or related field and 7–10 years of directly related professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
