How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
This role supports Delta’s third-party Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business by driving financial and operational excellence through detailed risk analysis, performance monitoring, and continuous process improvement. The successful candidate will bring a continuous improvement mindset and collaborate across teams in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze maintenance program performance and develop detailed risk assessments to support strategic decision-making.
Identify and execute opportunities to improve financial and operational performance, including shop LEAN initiatives and long-term project planning.
Develop, implement, and maintain activity-based costing tools to assess financial performance and understand maintenance cost drivers.
Monitor, refine, and report on operational KPIs to ensure alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including the Commercial and Product teams to maximize business outcomes.
Support contract fulfillment and execution by tracking performance against business cases and ensuring achievement of key metrics.
Prepare and present business updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Champion a safety-conscious culture by developing strategic and tactical plans that promote employee safety and well-being.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Strong finance, communication, and FP&A related skills.
Excellent time management, detail orientation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
Robust analytical ability, the capability to deliver results, and excellent organization through defined and ambiguous challenges or tasks.
A track record for partnering with other business stakeholders through multiple contiguous tasks. You’ll need to be able to engage the business in a manner that enhances productivity and encourages operational transformation toward optimal cost efficiency.
An ability to interact with all levels of management. Must possess the ability to present complex material in a concise but comprehensive manner.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
A bachelor's degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field is preferred.
Six Sigma/LEAN experience.
Five or more years of related experience and experience in leadership role highly preferred.
Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, Hyperion, SAP Analysis for Office, Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
