What You’ll Contribute

Define and drive the end-to-end UX strategy and execution for one or more product domains, ensuring consistency, clarity, and usefulness in highly complex analytics tools.

Own and lead the design process from discovery through delivery, including journey mapping, concept development, wireframing, prototyping, and specifications for engineering.

Independently lead cross-functional workshops and design reviews with stakeholders at all levels, and advocate for human-centered design practices across the product lifecycle.

Rapidly iterate based on feedback, technical constraints, and evolving requirements; confidently lead conversations that balance user needs with business objectives.

Partner with UX researchers to plan, execute, and apply qualitative and quantitative research insights that shape product outcomes.

Actively collaborate with design peers in contributing to FICO’s cross-product design system, helping align design language, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards.

Provide design mentorship and critique to other UX and Product Designers; help level up team capabilities in enterprise UI, system design, and domain modeling.

Track, measure, and communicate design impact to the business, including engagement, task success, effort reduction, and customer satisfaction (e.g., SUS, CSAT).

Help shape FICO’s broader UX strategy and play an active role in defining the future of enterprise decision software UX.

What We’re Seeking

12+ years of professional experience in UX/Product Design for enterprise B2B software.

A systems-oriented mindset, with proven ability to wrangle complexity and define thoughtful, modular design frameworks and patterns.

Deep fluency in Figma (preferred), prototyping, and documentation; experience using and contributing to design systems.

A strong portfolio that highlights enterprise UX case studies, end-to-end problem solving, your decision-making process, and measurable outcomes.

Familiarity with designing for regulatory environments, accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1 or Section 508), and ethical UX principles.

Ability to work autonomously in a highly matrixed environment, while guiding other designers and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Experience mentoring or leading design teams .

Background or strong familiarity with one or more of: AI/ML systems, underlying data models, fraud detection, financial decisioning products, or cloud-native platforms.

Experience working in Agile product development across multiple release cycles.

Bachelor / Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Human Factors, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science. (MDes, MSc, MFA, etc.) in UX, HCI or a related discipline.

The targeted base pay range for this role is: $132,000 to $207,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
