You will use the fundamental principles of mechanical, electrical, industrial, or other engineering disciplines to support the design, evaluation, and improvement of new products as well as existing components and/or systems. Your objective is to enable technology breakthroughs that serve the most important, yet least satisfied, outcomes of interest for our customers, providing solutions that deliver compelling value and unparalleled performance.

With direct supervision, you will learn and perform the various aspects of the engineering function by:

• Acquiring knowledge of various engineering department’s operations, functions, responsibilities, and workflow.
• Observing work assignments performed by others and actively participate in hands-on projects and/or special assignments.
• Using engineering skills to conduct analysis and modeling, engage in product design, develop and execute testing procedures, and participate in facilities engineering work.
• Maintaining communication with program coach/mentor to provide feedback on departmental assignments and program improvements.
• Attending related training and applying it in work assignments.
• Performing other related responsibilities.

The requirements to be part of the Programs are:

• Being enrolled in a Bachelor’s or advanced degree program in a related engineering field such as: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to work effectively in a variety of engineering and manufacturing assignments.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CAD systems such as AutoCad, ProE, etc.

Compensation based on field of study and year in college.
