Job Description

PeaceHealth, a non-profit Catholic health system, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to join our dedicated to our Surgical/Ortho team at Southwest Medical Center in beautiful Vancouver, Washington. This is a Full-Time (0.90 FTE), Night Shift position offering a competitive salary range of$54.21 - $78.61 and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role:

As a Charge Nurse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care. You'll lead and mentor our nursing team, coordinate patient care, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate patient care delivery and staff assignments.
Supervise and assess the quality of nursing care provided.
Guide and mentor staff in providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Identify and implement opportunities for clinical practice improvement.
Participate in staff development and education.

Qualifications:

Required:

Accredited School of Nursing
2 years of acute care nursing experience
Registered Nurse (RN) License in Washington State
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
ACLS within 6 months of hire.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
Commitment to providing patient-centered care.
