About the role

Zillow is seeking a Senior Manager for the ASA Sales Operations team. In this leadership role, you will strategize and implement innovative sales approaches to enhance customer acquisition and retention. Your team will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, conducting market analyses to identify growth opportunities, and optimizing sales processes. You will manage and mentor a team of strategic business partners, serving as a trusted advisor to sales leaders across the organization. This role entails cultivating and leveraging key relationships with executive stakeholders to establish a customer-centric culture that underpins our mission to deliver unparalleled satisfaction and loyalty.

What You’ll Do:

Sales Strategy: Drive the creation and implementation of annual sales plans and long-term strategic initiatives by engaging with cross-functional leaders and high-value clients in Sales, Marketing, FP&A, and Product Management to champion customer engagement and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Sales Process & Programs: Lead the optimization of sales processes to build efficient workflows. Identify challenges and areas for improvement based on market trends, customer feedback, and performance data. Make strategic recommendations to executive leaders aimed at enhancing sales performance and achieving key metrics.

Forecasting and Performance Cadences: Lead our weekly business cadences that drive pipeline management to accurately project revenue & sales results, identify gaps, and align resources to meet targets. Support executive review cadences and own narrative of team performance. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and foster a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and retention.

Team Leadership & Development: Mentor, guide, and develop team members, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Emphasize the importance of understanding the customer journey as part of team training and development efforts.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $139,800.00 - $223,200.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

Experience: 10+ years in Sales/GTM Operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the technology or real estate sector.

Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, passionate about driving strategic results while encouraging collaboration.

Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting central initiatives to executive leadership.

Analytical Problem Solver: Proficient in tackling ambiguous, complex challenges and driving analysis.

Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in varying analytical and data visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Tableau).
