Job Description

Lead Supply Chain activities for the division in alignment with the Parker WIN Strategy. Develop and implement strategies within a lean enterprise framework, focusing on Talent Leadership, Customer Experience, Risk Mitigation, and Cash Generation.

• Provide leadership by promoting team member development through development plans.

• Identify and develop talent pipeline for key roles within the Division Supply Chain Team.

• Leads all Supply Chain Management activities within the division. 

• Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management. 

• Responsible for facilitation of the S&OP Process Responsible for the overall strategic initiatives to minimize risk, reduce costs, and ensure continuity of supply. 

• Will establish and implement standard/automated re-order procedures. 

• Negotiates long term contracts in coordination with group staff and policies. 

• Will establish and implement standard/automated delivery procedures for just in time supplier stocking items. 

• Establishes and maintains premier customer service.  

• Responsible for continuous improvements programs with suppliers.

• Accountable for managing the division's overall strategic production planning practices taking into consideration short term/long term production requirements and integrating materials availability.

• Responsible for managing the division operational inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels for immediate production items and forecasting for future requirements. 

• Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development

EDUCATION: 

Bachelor’s Degree (4 Year) in Supply Chain or Operations Management, Business, Engineering or Other or equivalent required 

Advanced Degree such as MBA preferred

Professional Certification – APICS or ISM preferred

EXPERIENCE(S):

Minimum of 6-8+ years applicable experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment, with experience leading a team
