In this role, you will:

Partner with asset teams to develop sustainable processes to maintain the health of our systems, as well as to build capability to become a site-wide subject matter expert.  As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.  The individual will report to the Marinette Engineering Manager.

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and mentor team members to increase technical understanding and ability to execute programs to improve Marinette’s business results. 
Flow to work as part of the Mill Team.  Expected to be able to support Utilities, Distribution, Converting, Manufacturing, Automation Control and Network Systems activities across the mill. 
Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.  Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies, and guidelines.  Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, contractors and other personnel.
Lead single or multiple capital or major maintenance projects with a financial scope of up to $10 million from conception through commercialization.
Provide functional guidance in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and processes to meet site objectives.
Seek, recognize, define, and solve problems to achieve unit objectives.  Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause.
Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, problem solving and project management.
Implement the documentation and report of unit work as required by KC policy, effective communication, protection of proprietary information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Provide leadership by example in corporate safety, quality, regulatory, product safety and sustainability.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university.
2+ years of relevant working experience.
Flexibility to work in a manufacturing environment with a 24/7 operation.
Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic only) as dictated by business need for meetings, machine install or start-up support, benchmarking or best practice sharing.
Ability to lead and facilitate problem solving across teams to achieve desired results.
Ability to influence across all levels in the organization and work to drive teamwork across organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical expertise in the field of Power distribution, Machine Controls, Automation and Network Systems
Technical expertise in converting and manufacturing technologies in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Experience working with technical service providers.
Direct experience with Rockwell software products.
Familiarity with safety PLC systems, Honeywell, and Bailey Systems.
Familiarity with machine installations, start-ups, and project management.
