Job Description


The Risk Management and Compliance (RM&C) Operational Risk Framework Analyst is part of U.S. Bank’s RM&C Business Line Risk team.  The analyst will have an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team that is responsible for ensuring the business line’s adherence to key Operational Risk Framework programs as well as the identification of gaps within processes and activities in existing risk programs.   This role’s primary focus will be on the Business Line Control Environment (BLCE), Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) programs. The analyst will triage incoming control requests and partner with the business line and second lines of defense partners to recommend and influence solutions that mitigate risks. The role will also have responsibility for managing the content on team’s internal and BL facing SharePoint sites.  

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Must currently live in Minnesota

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than five years of applicable experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Advanced knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
- Advanced understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills
- Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
- Applicable professional certifications
