Manufacturing facilitators are our front-line leaders, own the manufacturing process, and lead associates in order to deliver Safety, People, Quality, Customer Service, and Financial Efficiency goals.
Responsibilities:
Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing facility.
Understands and adheres to the J&J standards of behavior.
Provide the first level of supervision in a manufacturing unit.
Assigns duties and actively assists or provides direction to subordinates as required.
Monitors work operations and employee performance.
Responsible for the safety of shift members.
Works under general supervision, with responsibility to make decisions to meet operational objectives.
Comply with all applicable quality management system, environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (For example, ISO 13485, ISO14001 & OSHAS18001).
Study the need for improvements of existing processes, systems and equipment, and in partnership with related departments, undertakes optimization to increase efficiency and quality and to reduce costs.
Able to respond to routine problems independently.
Supervises production operation and work to meet production goals.
Establishes personnel schedules and product lines based on business needs.
Provides input to production flow and identifies potential manufacturing issues as well as operational budgets.
Manages costs to improve business’ financial results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine manufacturing requirements and ensure that all production targets are met.
Successfully implement and manage manufacturing processes to achieve operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2 years of proven experience
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred:
Supervising experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Medical device manufacturing
Experience in a CBA/Union environment.
Practical knowledge and experience with OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) monitoring and automation.
Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical, and Analytical problem-solving.
Other:
May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites
100% working On-site
C shifts continuous operations night shift including weekends 4 days on 4 days off 6:30pm-6:30am.
