The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for supporting the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability, and security.  Requires in-depth skills in Oracle database administration. Responsibilities to include:

·         Good experience in Oracle 19c database administration with strong skill in concepts and architecture, and hands on experience on Oracle RAC (ASM) databases.

·         Monitoring and management of databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c.

·         Back-up and recovery using RMAN (ZDLRA knowledge is a plus)

·         Oracle E-business suite R12.2 maintenance, patching, cloning and code migration.

·         Oracle WebLogic Server Administration.

·         Working with High availability systems and load balancers.

·         Database Performance and System tuning.    

·         Python, Shell Scripting and Ansible for automation of the following day to day tasks:

o   Cloning

o   Patching

·         Running databases in VMs.

·         Knowledge with on-prem Exadata is a plus        

Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle DBA skills
Experience in Oracle 19c database administration with strong skills in concepts and architecture and hands on experience on Oracle RAC databases.
Must have expertise in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c monitoring and management. Patching OEM components and target metrics administration are required.
Thorough working experience on multitenant architecture. Container and Pluggable database administration and cloning.
Ansible and/or Unix shell scripting expertise for automation of day-to-day tasks like cloning, patching.
Backup and Recovery skills, Active Data guard configuration & monitoring skills required.
Experience in DR setups, High availability system and knowledge on load balancers.
Strong knowledge in Database Performance and System tuning in Oracle Core DBA.
Strong production support experience of ORACLE databases running on multi-node RAC (ASM)
Should have worked with HANG Analyzer, system state dump, SQL Tuning, AWR analysis, Trace file analysis etc.
Should have experience in Oracle E-Biz R12.2 Maintenance, Support, Projects, Upgrades and Migrations.
Good knowledge in Oracle WebLogic Server Administration.
Should have working experience in different OS platforms and cross platform migration skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with other teams.

The company operates through four segments: NGL Pipelines & Services, Crude Oil Pipelines & Services, Natural Gas Pipelines & Services, and Petrochemical & Refined Products Services. The NGL Pipelines & Services segment offers natural gas processing and related NGL marketing services, as well as NGL export docks and related services. The Petrochemical & Refined Products Services segment operates propylene fractionation and related activities, including 800 miles of pipelines; butane isomerization complex and related deisobutanizer units; and octane enhancement and high purity isobutylene production facilities. It also operates approximately 4,100 miles of refined products pipelines; and terminals, as well as provides refined products marketing and marine transportation services.
