Job Description

As Creative Director, you will define our brands visual language and inspire high quality visuals to reflect the value of the brand to stand out across all channels, driving awareness and preference. Your vision, strategy and direction will inform and inspire internal teams and external agencies in bringing our brand to life.
Reporting to the VP, Brand Marketing, your experience across both online and offline mediums will help us tell compelling stories that create demand for our brand and products. You will be a strategic voice at the leadership table, collaborating across the organization with Product, CX, Ops, the ELT, as well as within Marketing with Brand, Demand Generation, and Partnerships to build a powerful, and memorable visual identity.
Your role will involve translating complex ideas into compelling visual elements, ensuring consistency in branding and aesthetics, and contributing to the evolution of our visual language. This work will include, but not limited to concept ideation for campaigns, art direction for collateral and assets, and visual alignment with product UX.

Responsibilities:

Art Direction: Provide guidance to creative teams to ensure alignment with the established creative vision and standards.
Concept Development: Ideate compelling visual stories to bring campaigns to life, achieving business results, including driving demand, creating web traffic, and increasing responses.
Team Collaboration: Work as part of a cross-functional Marketing team, giving and receiving constructive feedback in a way that elevates the work overall.
Brand Champion: Rally the team behind the brand and visual concepts to create excitement and champions across the organization through ambassadorship and enablement.
Visual Standards: Ensure that all creative output is consistent with the brand's identity and standards.
Team Player: You earn the trust and respect of your peers through the quality and integrity of your work and demeanor.
Budget Management: Manage creative budgets, allocating resources effectively and tracking expenses across third party agencies and freelancers.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform creative strategies.
Communication Skills: Present and pitch creative ideas and concepts to clients and stakeholders effectively. Additional work to support executive comms and board of directors is also necessary.
Project Management: Develop workflows, intake systems, triage process to best manage design requests, while meeting the business priorities of the company.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience as a creative director with a proven track record of leading creative teams and stewarding brand
A portfolio that includes examples of groundbreaking work, including examples of brand identity, visual standards, paid digital, organic social media, and experiential/environment work
Proven track record of driving business results for the business, through successful campaigns and tactics in various media forms.
University degree or college diploma in design or a related field is required
Experience in the B2B SaaS market is preferred
Proven leader with a demonstrated ability to develop long-term partnerships with internal teams and external agencies to deliver measurable results that exceed expectations.
