Specific Responsibilities
The IT Services & Support/Records & Information Analyst I for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Information Technology team at the company’s Houston office reporting to the IT Services. & Support Manager.
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
Provide customer service for the organization, including for requests for information, analysis, and services to meet the business objectives.
Maintain active IM systems and provide training to end users.
Implement retention schedules and create destruction notifications for approval.
Work closely with functional representatives to review records & information management needs.
Maintain knowledge and awareness of industry trends, methods, and technologies related to records & information management.
Understand records & information management program requirements and best practices.
Classify and process incoming information according to procedures to meet organizational compliance requirements.
Gather information from stakeholders and end users during periodic updates of retention schedules.
Facilitate disposition activities.
Communicate with stakeholders to determine IM needs.
Remain effective during changes in responsibilities, work environment, or conditions affecting the organization.
Participate in team building to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of two years of college, including specialized courses in IM, business law, or IT, and two to four years of experience in creating IM systems is required.
A working knowledge of retention guidelines and relevant IM technology applications for information retention is required.
Applies specialized technical skills as an independent worker under minimal supervision.
