Facilities Technician (Maintenance Mechanic)

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of company facilities.

Functions and Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair all company facilities.
Assists with maintaining building security and immediately responds to building emergencies.
Uses basic hand and power tools to accomplish tasks.
Moves equipment, appliances and furniture.
Cleans work areas, machines and tools.
Follows verbal and written instructions such as checklists.
Performs all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
Works under limited oversight.
Must have a forklift certification.
Can work independently with consistency and discipline.
Must be able to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors and vendors.

Working Conditions

Use of protective clothing, goggles, and other equipment to prevent injuries. Wearing a respirator may also be required.

Physical Requirements

Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing and handling of material.

Time Off: To help promote a healthy work/life balance, this position receives  80 hours of Paid Vacation plus Paid Sick time, which accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
