Have you ever aspired to be the top digital technology leader for a manufacturing plant?  This is an exciting and dynamic role. As Digital Technologies Senior Manager, you should have a strong technical background and/or curiosity to solve hard problems and develop new solutions in the manufacturing and industrial automation space. You should also have a real passion for identifying improvement opportunities and integrating various technologies to enable the future of Digital Manufacturing via Industry 4.0 technologies, Data, and Analytics. You also have the opportunity to work with a multi-functional team to architect, design, build and maintain scalable industrial data and control systems to automate P&G’s key operations.  

The successful Digital Technologies Senior Manager continuously innovates, running proof of concepts, and assesses 3rd party solutions for applicability within P&G. Maintains relationships with and influences product teams and vendors, and builds diverse and collaborative relationships: Development of relationships will be critical to your success in supporting the business. You will work seamlessly across global IT, supply chain, manufacturing and engineering organizations and production sites to co-develop and deploy high impact digitization solutions. 

Responsibilities 

1. Define and drive the plant digital master plan with relevant stakeholders ~ 30% capacity 

Active member of the plant leadership team. 

Define the plant digital master plan, in-line with the Business Unit (BU)/Category digital strategy and Category Strategy/plant Compelling Business Need (CBN).  

Ensure the master plan includes strategic interventions to drive the ideal state on data architecture, to enable predictive analytics and value acceleration. Coach the teams on successful delivery of these programs/projects. 

Reflect the plant master plan in the portfolio tool (1PT) to track progress and outcomes.  

Lead regular digital portfolio reviews with key stakeholders from plant, central BU organization and Global Business Services (GBS). 

Partner with GBS service lines leaders/Single Points of Contact (SPOCs) to deliver the plant operational targets, stewardship, drive business growth and value, and enable the Integrated Work System (IWS) framework digital pillar progression. 

Lead the multi-functional plant digital team master plan drumbeat. 

Behave as a thought leader and provide critical input to the master plan to ensure outcomes are achieved. 

Ensure alignment to P&G’s “Smart from the Start” strategy for site expansion projects. 

2. Lead and deliver value for the plant and / or category ~ 40% capacity 

Lead a minimum of 1 top digital project per year to enable plant and/or category value.  

Lead a minimum of 1 digital pilot per year leveraging P&G Data Architecture, AI and Manufacturing Data Flow (MDF) Architecture, bringing to life AI use cases to deliver business value. 

Anticipate and align future Digital Solutions/Investments opportunities to BU leadership and service lines, including data loss opportunities as part of loss elimination work. 

3. Responsible for ensuring Operational Excellence and IT Controls - Audits Ready Every Day ~ 20% capacity 

4. Responsible for Plant Data and Technology budget management ~10% capacity 

Success Criteria 

Stewardship/Compliance – Global Internal Audit (GIA) IT Audit Score> 7.5, 0 GIA overdue major issues.   

Audit Ready Every Day KPIs - IT MAGICS>90%, 100% MAGICS defects closure; IT Compliance projects (e.g., Windows CE, DCOM), ITCP revision and test failovers completion. 

Operational Excellence and Business Continuity:  Business Quality of Service (BQoS)<=2 Non-Quality Days (NQD)/month, unplanned downtime (metric TBC). 

BU portfolio sufficiency in line with plant CBN/business direction.  

100% 1Portfolio tool accuracy with Status, Cost, Value tracked monthly. 

Strategic Digital Project delivering Project’s success criteria and on time/quality. 

FIRM and Financial Forecast built and on track with ongoing company process/timeline. 

Identify at least one opportunity project to drive value leveraging Data / AI  

Job Qualifications

Qualifications (Expected):  

Degree: Undergraduate qualifications or relevant professional experience in respective technical area. 

IT Operations: Manage applications and infrastructure components in a production environment.  

Project/Portfolio Management: Ability to successfully deliver medium to large projects with excellent collaboration and discipline. 

Integrated Risk Management: Understanding of IT compliance, governance and risk management. 

Collaboration/stakeholder management - Ability to work effectively with and coach a multifunctional team at the site, and broader teams across, to deliver value, operational excellence, and innovation for the site.? 

Leadership: Self-starter. Willingness and ability to challenge the status quo, learn continuously, and apply expertise to deliver business value. Ability to work independently and effectively in a highly matrix organization. 

Fluent in English 

Qualifications (Preferred):  

Experience working with multifunctional teams to deliver medium to high complexity projects. 

Demonstrated track record of portfolio management and driving digital interventions to transform/simplify business process. 

Solid understanding of IT operations. (Incident, Change, Problem Management). 

Certified in CISA, ITIL Foundation, CCNA, Agile DevOps, PMP, DAMA. 

Experience with industrial IT networks and industrial automation. 

Robotics, Machine Vision, and/or Networking skills are a plus. 

Programming knowledge and experience desired, i.e., Python, SQL, C/C++, C#, etc.

Starting Salary Range: $100,000-$143,000

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
