Job Details:
This is a full-time position responsible for monitoring daily traffic entering and leaving the Tyson of Rogers facility, answering the phone and transferring calls, constant communication with plant management, truck drivers, vendors, customers, and contractors.
This position will be responsible for lot checks of trailers during their designated hours. This position is also responsible for monitoring what is being brought into and out of the facility and enforcing Tyson policy if needed. Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor. The Main Guard shack runs 4 shifts in order to have 24-hour coverage (ABCD schedule) and shift assignment will be determined upon job offer.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: 6 months preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Communication Skills: Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate under stressful situations.
Position Specific Requirements: Must have and maintain excellent attendance (6 points or less); No serious disciplinary; No serious Safety violations; specialized in house training. Must be able to work in both hot and cold temperatures, work both independently and under supervision, and have a positive work ethic.

This position is slated for candidates who are currently working at this facility; therefore, they will be considered for the opening first. If none of those local Team Members are selected, then Team Members from other locations will be given consideration.
