PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The purpose of this position is to provide PeopleSoft HCM functional business analyst support. Key responsibilities include providing analysis and support of technology and process changes in the areas of human resources/payroll. Provide help desk and query support for the HR/Payroll. Serve as a PeopleSoft HR/Payroll business analyst and act as a liaison between Payroll, HR & IT.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
System Configuration: Configure and maintain HR Solutions to align with organizational, union, and regulatory requirements.
Support Operational Processing: Support end-to-end processing cycle for various HR Functions - Employee Lifecycle including Recruitment, Onboarding, Timekeeping and Payroll, Compensation, benefits ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments, including data validation, calculation, and reconciliation.
Issur Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies, errors, and employee inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
Testing and Validation: Perform testing for Minor enhancements, detect and vendor patches/upgrades. Perform audits within HR applications to maintain data integrity and system reliability.
Reporting: Generate reports and analytics for various HR data elements to support data-driven decision-making and compliance reporting.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and system optimization to streamline payroll operations and improve efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, Supply and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of HR systems with other corporate efficiency.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of HR and payroll processes, and system configurations.
JOB SCOPE
Responsible for requirements gathering, design reviews, testing, and implementation planning.
Responsible for tracking budget and scope of projects that range ranging in value from $50,000 to $250,000.
Works under minimal supervision.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or Information Systems and 4-7 years of relevant experience
In lieu of degree, 6-9 years of relevant experience
Minimum 4 years' experience in a functional role supporting Human Resources/ Payroll, or IT experience with a focus on HR, Payroll applications.
Minimum 4 years' experience working with PeopleSoft HRMS, with in depth knowledge of end-to-end PeopleSoft including development of queries and reports.
Project management and process improvements experience.
Ability to work independently and take leadership role in working with various stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into functional specifications through hands-on analysis
Strong oral and written communications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong understanding of HR technologies best practices and trends in domain of payroll, time and labor.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of one or more programming languages, e.g. Java, SQL, JavaScript, Python, etc.
In-depth knowledge of Human Resources, Payroll, and/or Timekeeping systems.
Experience in Infor WFM (Workbrain) or Kronos.
