Providing subject matter expertise (“SME”) support to business partners using HFM system (including SmartView, FDMEE and ODI)

The Hyperion System Administrator (HFM) bridges the gap between IT and business partners. Providing IT knowledge to the finance and accounting teams as well as provide finance and accounting experience to IT, making smooth transitions to everyday support.  

This Hyperion System Administrator (HFM) serves as a liaison between the internal/external business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Translates high-level, complex business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, manages changes to such specifications and educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. Liaison between the IT department, 3rd party Support providers and the systems user communities, furnishing information, training and providing support and assistance where needed. 

Role Responsibilities 

Primary support to business partners for HFM 
You will also support business partners for additional systems including, Blackline, and TRCS 
Oversee system troubleshooting with users 
Administer security for supported systems. 
Support role for month end close and planning processes for Western Union, such as data loads 
Perform training of new users and assist with refresher trainings for existing users 
Perform training of other members of the team to ensure backups are in place 
Participate in enhancements, projects and upgrades 

Role Requirements 

3+ years of experience in supporting a range of Hyperion products 
Understanding of Finance and Accounting business processes, including forecasting and budgeting cycles and actual corporate reporting requirements 
Strong Technical Background 
Strong English communication skills 
Effective communicator with the ability to work well with multiple teams and individuals 
Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously 
Ability to articulate ideas, both written and verbal, to technical and non- technical teams 
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary 

The salary range is $74,500 – 100,750 – 127,000 USD per year, total on-target earnings include short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
