Job Description
Experienced buyer needed for rapidly growing manufacturing company located near Fort Payne AL. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for purchasing and maintaining appropriate inventory for all raw materials. The Senior Buyer will also be involved in contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers. The Senior Buyer is responsible for ensuring needed materials and onhand and available for production. The Senior Buyer is also responsible for production components, packaging and various supplies needed in the daily production process. This is an essential role within the plan to ensure that the production process is on time and the customer is served. This is an ideal opportunity to join a first class operation with a strong team-oriented culture with proven processes in place. Requirements
Candidates for the Senior Buyer position must have previous experience purchasing raw materials for a fast-paced manufacturing operation. Experience in automotive is highly preferred.
