About the position:
The Health/Safety/Environmental Lead will provide knowledge, leadership, assistance, and advice at every level of the organization throughout the Plant in the management of health/safety and environmental activities. This role will be responsible for complying with Goodyear Global EHS policies.
Responsibilities:
Periodically review local, state and federal regulations for applicability to the plant activities and equipment.
Timely completion and submittal of all required air/water/waste/storm water inspections, compliance reports and permit renewals to local, State and Federal agencies
EPA reporting of Greenhouse Gas Reporting, Tier II, Chemical Weapons, TRI. NESHAPS Part 61 and 63 reports
State reporting of MECT, HECT, and state annual emission inventory submittals
Manage the tracking and disposal of wastes including periodic inspections
Complete Management of Change Checklist and, if necessary, authorize air and water emissions through permitting
Manage the ISO 14001 program
Timely completion of Corporate EHS reports including REPortal, and Environmental Incident reports
Support Chem Bus Team Lead - Environment in complying with environmental remediation activities including inspections and recordkeeping
To join our team, you will need:
Education:
4 year degree in technical science, safety or engineering.
Experience:
Broad knowledge of OSHA, EPA and state regulations in environmental and safety, ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
Strong ability to use database programs and expert in MS Office Word and Excel products.
Knowledge , Skills, and Abilities:
Required: Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and the determination of applicability.
HAZWOPPER and DOT training.
Desired: Knowledge of TRI (NPRI or equivalent) calculations and reporting, hazardous waste management, air/water/waste permitting, and pollution prevention.
Knowledge of safety training, hazmat and fire training and plant safety policy
