We have a great opportunity for a Manager, Contracts, who will be responsible for a full range of contract management and administration actions in support of the Radar Sensor Systems Product Area, within the Surveillance and Network Systems business.

Job Duties:

In this highly visible role, you’ll provide significant Contracts guidance and support to the business and programs relative to proprietary strategic and non-strategic pursuits, supporting all phases of the Acquisition Lifecycle from Development to Sustainment.

Work closely with Program Managers and other program functions to construct, submit and negotiate pricing proposals

Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies, and advise stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and mitigation of contractual/program risks

Act as a focal point with the customer for all contractual matters and guide contractual issues to closure

Review customer requests for quotes, identify proposal/quotes requirements, review terms and conditions, assist in proposal development and participate in securing required approval for submittal of proposals to customers

Participate in proposal reviews and approvals and brief stakeholders on Terms and Conditions

Review contractual terms and conditions for acceptability & assess risk and impact

Recognize risk elements in business transactions and contracts and offer mitigation alternatives

Negotiate, structure, and/or administer contractual documents

Work with sales, finance and legal groups and ensure compliance with company policy, government specifications and other requirements

Principal interface with internal/external customers on contractual matters

Independently manage workload

Clearance & Citizenship requirements:

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access under this program/contract

Typical Education:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years' experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

8 years of U.S. Government Defense and Aerospace contract experience under FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR and equivalent government regulations

6 years experience in delivering presentations to customers and senior stakeholders

8 years experience in the administration and negotiation of Government proposals & contracts

Experience managing multiple portfolios spanning commercial, defense and Foreign Military Sales

Desired Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to influence executive leadership

Ability to problem solve and support the stakeholders in achieving their financial and performance goals and objectives

Demonstrated ability to shape results in support of objectives

Proficiency and experience working sole source and competitive acquisitions.
