Description:
The Vendor Program Management Analyst/Associate position is responsible for supporting the US Banks Vendor Program Management Office and reports into a Bank Vendor Program Management Officer. The program’s framework consists of the following areas of responsibility:
• Actively lead and partner across organizations in the development, implementation, and sustainability of third party cloud governance and risk management
• Monitor and advise stakeholder on third party due diligence assessments and activate the relevant downstream subject matter experts to assess risk mitigation
• Support issues remediation and program enhancements
• Assist with day-to-day support for the Bank’s direct and indirect vendors, including the vendor lifecycle from on-boarding, contract reviews, periodic monitoring, risk assessments, expense management and termination
• Provide assistance to ad-hoc projects including those related to inventory management, business and product mapping, metrics and reporting and third-party privacy matters
• Ensure appropriate governance of policies and procedures, and the Bank’s framework adherence to key Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and FFIEC regulatory requirements
• Support the Vendor Program Manager Officers in weekly, monthly, and quarterly Committees and Sub-Committees related to the Affiliate and Third Party Vendor Management Programs
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or other related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in risk management, documentation and governance in the financial services industry is a plus
• Familiar with IT in general and Cloud technologies specifically (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Public & Private Cloud)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, data analysis and project management skills
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of various compliance and regulatory areas (e.g. FFIEC)
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong project management, organization, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage ambiguity and bring focus with recommendations on solving tactical and strategic challenges
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, both independently and as part of a team, and under strict deadlines
• Strong at identifying key control points within a process, and then provide assessment of the preventative and detective controls
• Strong interpersonal skills - freely develops networks, builds consensus, prioritizes effectively, and develops alliances across organizations
• Strong written and oral communication skills will be important for this role
