PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide analytical support for the work management and scheduling process by developing weekly, monthly and long-term schedules, perform workload analysis and resource forecasts. Monitor and evaluate historical trending and organizational performance through the development of indicator graphs and reports. Directed to perform research, draw conclusions and make recommendations to management. Support compliance commitments to regulatory agencies. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible to analyze schedules, workload and resource forecasts through the use of PC and mainframe computer applications such as: Primavera P3, Cognos Impromptu ProjectView (PV), Hyperion System, Indus PassPort, Microsoft Excel, Access, Power Point, MS Project, etc. (30%)
Develop reports and perform historical trending research. Monitor and evaluate organizational performance by developing indicator graphs and reports (30%)
Responsible to build reports and schedules to assist in developing the organization's Work Plan and revise schedules to recover from emergent events. (20%)
Ensure adherence to standard policies, programs, processes and scheduling protocols. (10%)
Interface with other departments and within the department and represent Work Management regarding process and procedural issues. Serves as a change agent and fosters a high performance culture and promotes diversity and inclusion. (10%)

Interfaces as required with category owners, resource management and financial management.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering AND 2 - 4 years related business experience, or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3-6 years relevant business experience is required.
Experience with Project View
Strong analytical skills and evaluation techniques
Experience and proficiency in using PC software and mainframe computer applications such as Excel, Access, Power Point, MS Project, Indus PassPort
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize a variety of independent assignments and meet deadlines
Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to handle conflict
Excellent attendance record
Computer skills and experience with Project View (PV) Primavera P3, Cognos Impromptu, Hyperion System
