Sr. Manager – Cybersecurity Insider Threat (A New Healthcare Company)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

In this role you will lead and develop insider threat domain that incorporates relevant security measures to detect, prevent, and respond. This role is a part of the Cyber Defense team.

 Here, you will make an impact by:

Partner with Legal IP, HR, cybersecurity, global security, internal audit, global privacy and functional teams to build a comprehensive insider threat program. Maintain collaboration across the organization, source industry trends and intelligence, raise awareness to and educate stakeholders
Develop, support, and maintain policies, procedures, and technical controls to detect and mitigate the risk of insider threat. Lead and maintain framework for insider risk analysis, alerting, incident response. Plan initiatives to mitigate strategic risks and execute with appropriate urgency
Support daily operations for investigations, examinations, case management, alert development, responding to automated alerts as well as conducting in-depth analysis
Track and manage program metrics, KPIs, KRIs per leading industry benchmarks and demonstrate consistent risk management
Lead efforts to track data lineage across business processes for critical information and highly valued assets. Utilize this as input into the program
Synthesizes regulatory and intelligence information in context of incidents; develop and report insights about the possible implications

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher from (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

OR

High School Diploma/GED or higher from a (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in Information technology

Ten (10) years of experience in insider threat management, including designing and implementing insider threat programs in a private, public, government or military environment 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Security from an accredited institution
Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessor and Program Manager Certifications, Carnegie Mellon University SEI CERT, or equivalent certification
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience with technical solutions that aid in detecting and mitigating insider threats
Knowledge of relevant legal/regulatory frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO, GDPR, CMMC, FedRamp, StateRamp

Work location:
