Role Summary

The Senior Associate, Digital and Experience Strategy helps implement and execute marketing-led experiences on NYL.com. This role is responsible for supporting the delivery and ongoing lifecycle of website experiences in the digital ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has subject matter expertise in digital product management within a Marketing organization, including identifying and communicating strategic business objectives, collaborating with key stakeholders, leading project initiatives, and creating and managing project roadmaps to flawlessly deliver digital experiences that create business value across multiple simultaneous initiatives.   

Key Responsibilities

Product Management & Delivery

Responsible for flawless delivery of digital programs on NYL.com
Develops product delivery plans that align to cross-business initiatives
Assists in development of product roadmaps and prioritization of development
Works with leadership to prioritize roadmap based on individual project business value
Manages large project delivery schedules with coordination between key internal partners (e.g. UX/UI/Design, Marketing, Operations, etc)
Participates in and leads discovery sessions, kickoffs and core team meetings, post-mortems, etc
Develops an understanding of business goals to steer prioritization, development, and positioning of projects
Identifies internal process optimizations for new project requests leveraging both current and future digital tools (e.g. Asana, Airtable, Figma, Zeplin, etc)

Leadership

Collaborates across the organization to enable digital experiences on NYL.com that contribute to the overall success of our marketing programs
Works with a cross-functional team of UX, UI, SEO, content, and other stakeholders to develop web experiences and ongoing website enhancements
Observes changes in the digital marketing and insurance industry and recommend solutions/enhancements for future web optimizations

Analytics and Measurement

Works with internal performance analytics team to report on key insights that inform web enhancements
Works with internal/external teams to monitor and report on KPI’s where necessary

Basic Requirements

6+ years of work experience with 2+ years of experience leading teams and building consumer facing digital products
Specialized depth of knowledge and/or breadth of experience with web product management (UX, UI, Content / SEO, HTML, coding principles, testing methodologies, etc.) 
Experience with managing multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Solves unique and complex problems; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions
Skilled at using data, research, and consumer insights to make strategic decisions 
Demonstrates leadership with a team first mentality and the ability to build cross-functional relationships
Strong presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas with others (all levels) and influence audience to align to a single strategic point of view.
Experience with Adobe Target, AEM, Jira, and Asana is a plus
