Join us as a Cyber Incident Response Commander on our Cybersecurity Incident Response team in the United States to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As the Cyber Incident Response Commander, you will lead the response efforts for critical incidents, including the technical direction of the incident response, and report to the Senior Director of the Cyber Security Intelligence and Response Team.  Partnering closely with other functions within the Cybersecurity, Legal, and Executive Management teams, you will coordinate all cross-team collaboration, communication, and documentation activities related to containing and remediating the incident. 

You will:

Lead all incident management response activities for critical incidents, to include the initial triage, incident record, accuracy of data and reporting, incident timeline, root cause, and impact assessment
Take command of critical incidents by managing cross-functional and technical coordination efforts to ensure alignment and sound execution of the incident resolution process
Provide clear, timely, and transparent communication to stakeholders and senior leadership
Participate in post-incident process reviews to ensure continuous improvement of operations and execution
Contribute to the improvement of the incident response processes, tools, and automation based on lessons learned

Essential Requirements

10+ years of experience working in a large technology firm with a global footprint
7+ years of experience working with cybersecurity incident response/incident management teams
5+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Incident Response or SOC Analyst
Excellent project management, problem solving, and communication skills with the ability to execute under a high degree of urgency

Desired Requirements

Prior project/program management experience preferred
One or more of the following certifications:  CISSP, SANS GCIH, GCIA, GNFA, GREM
