Position Specific Description
Responsible for managing the engineering for capital projects for Turkey Point and St. Lucie. Tasks performed in the group include design, implementation support, alternative analysis, evaluations, NRC submittals and problem solving. Responsible for the development of vendor scopes of work and management of vendor performance. Maintains an integrated engineering schedule aligned with station schedules and the long range plan. Manager will interface with the station project managers as well as the site engineering directors. Interfaces with station and corporate leadership, station technical staff, engineering vendors, and project managers to align project priorities and ensure technical suitability of modifications. Position is located in Jupiter West.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Supervises large teams in the completion of projects
Leads both design and configuration management activity
Plans and completes studies, evaluations, and NRC submittals
Provides large-scale problem solving recommendations, real-time support and technical consultation to the nuclear fleet
Manages system, design, and technical staff to develop and implement plant modifications
Meets or exceeds site-specific ANSI standard requirements
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's – Engineering
Experience: 10+ years
Nuclear Experience: 7+ years
Supervisor/Management Experience: 4+ years
Preferred Qualifications
Master's - Business Administration
Master's – Engineering
Senior Reactor Operator Certification

Nuclear Specific Requirements:
Engineering or related experience: 10+ years
Operations, Maintenance, Work Control/Outage experience with management experience in at least one of these areas: Engineering Design, Programs, Systems, Rapid Response, Fuels, or Engineering Chiefs experience
Engineering manager or engineering supervisory experience
Nuclear Specific Preferences:
Operations or Maintenance experience, executive education, multi-site or corporate experience
