Position Specific Description

Will be trained to operate mirror wash equipment while ensuring the safety of the equipment, themselves, and fellow co-workers. Must be capable of operating a tractor, water truck and associated mirror wash equipment. The mirror wash is performed on nights, 4x10 hour nights a week with weekends off.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

Monitors and inspects all assigned equipment, determines the operating condition, performs routine maintenance, and makes  minor repairs and adjustments as required. Maintains neat and orderly equipment, accurate logs and records obtained from routine inspections of operating equipment.  

Operate all assigned equipment including, but not limited to, tractor and mirror wash rigs. Perform any other assigned task as directed by nightshift production leader. Which may include cleaning work areas, vehicles, fence lines or even working as a helper for an assigned task in the power blocks. 

Job Overview

This position performs the labor associated with Maintainance activities associated with solar generation facilities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Operate equipment as required to maintain vegetation and ground conditions
Equipment includes but is not limited to zero-turn lawn mowers, skid steers, tractors with brush hogs, sickle mowers
Perform routine and basic corrective maintenance on equipment.
Plow snow during winter months
Manually clear snow from panels
Operate snow clearing equipment
Manually clean solar panels
Operate panel cleaning equipment
Replace solar panels
Perform mechanical repairs to solar equipment
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
