About the Job:

The Regional Director of Franchise Operations is responsible for overseeing the the Mountain region of the US and must be located in that geographic area. Ideal locations being Houston,TX, Kansas City, MO but others considered. The Director will drive impact across the Taco Bell business by setting bold goals and driving relentless action. This role will focus on problem solving, challenging the status quo and consistently achieving the highest standards for our brand through our large Taco Bell Franchise organizations. The Regional Director of Franchise Operations, will lead a high-performing team of Field Team Sr Managers and Operations Consultants, as well as building cross-regional relationships to align strategy up, down and across the brand. The Regional Director of Franchise Operations will report to the Sr Director of Franchise Operations

The Day-to-Day:

· Provides strategic leadership for Field Team Sr Managers to deliver an exceptional customer experience across a diverse group of restaurants.

· Leads the way by working with each Field Team Sr Managers to deliver profit goals and meet targeted flow-thru objectives; utilizes available reports to identify opportunities; encourages a top-line orientation through operational focus; ensures that correct operational procedures are always followed to drive bottom line results.

· Accountable for coaching and training various levels of Management for operational excellence, supports national training initiatives, involved in process for new employee orientation, monitors training processes to ensure quality training of team and managers

· Works together with Sr HR Manager of Franchise to align with HR initiatives

· Absolutely uncompromising execution of the highest standards of OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy

· Leads recognition and motivation efforts throughout the Region acknowledging the People that drive our business

· Works with Sr. Franchise leaders and participates in new Franchisee interview and onboarding

Minimum Requirements

Is This You?

· Bachelors degree preferred but not required

· 8+ years operations management experience leading high volume sales in a multi-unit unit business environment

· Great communication skills, and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

· Proven success creating and driving growth initiatives

· Strong track record of selecting, coaching and developing teams

· Demonstrates strong business acumen and advanced analytical/decision-making skills

· Success driving customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction

Internal Promotion Requirements

· 8+ years of TB tenure in increasing levels of responsibility; or relevant outside management experience (8+ years of successful high sales volume – leading multi-unit leaders, with progressive operations management experience in Fortune 500)

· Successful or higher performance appraisal ratings; with above target or better – IF score

· Demonstrated success (perf in top 25% of brand for at least two consecutive years) leading multi-unit leaders driving both financial results and people development
