General Description:
This position is a paid internship for the summer of 2022. It will include Product Development as well as some Project Management responsibilities. The key objectives will be to develop systems to support the NPD process and participate in NPD initiatives, reporting to the NPD Manager. This position will be responsible for projects related to the division’s Infusion and Filtration product lines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop a plan and complete Characterization of our standard products that include Pediatrics, Medipure (Next Gen), Medipure, 17mm, 25mm & 50mm air filter
Develop template for design guide for our filtration projects
Support the conversion of electronic drawing and product design files into SolidWorks format.
Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop drawing standards and templates.
Qualifications:
3rd or 4th year Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field with a strong, demonstrable interest in business
3D CAD skills (Solidworks preferred)
