Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for general operation duties including: production reporting, safety observations, ladder inspections, merlin data entry
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Checks with supervisors or manager at the beginning of shift to discuss any issues or changes in the daily procedure. Checks emails daily for schedule changes, customer requests, additions, promotions etc.
Assists in the monitoring of daily productivity reports.
Performs safety observations for entire plants, ladder inspections and merlin data entry
Assist ops with presentations, spreadsheets, data analysis
Assists with reporting production and order filing
Reviews all production paperwork to ensure SQF requirements are met
Assist with production work order prerelease, release, print
Assists warehouse with PO receiving, pick sheet selecting
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-3 years warehouse experience
Food, Pharma, cosmetics industry experience is desirable.
WMS / RF experience is desirable.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Inventory control, supply chain management
Knowledgeable with Microsoft tools: including Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Strong communication skills
Detail orientated
Ability to multi task
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Good attitude an ability to work with others
Team engagement
Ability to work in cross functional team
