Overview:

The Warehouse Management team provides centralized business process support and system and process design expertise to General Mills Supply Chain Warehousing business partners throughout North America. Members of this team provide important leadership in connecting supply chain processes across Global Business Services and business teams to ensure that end to end processes align with business strategy and deliver against business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Work with business partners/warehouse operations to improve warehouse management processes through application configuration and development.
Develop technical and functional expertise in Supply Chain Warehousing
Lead the design and development of solutions for supply chain projects, related to Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System including Webservice API, SFTP, Automated Vehicle interfacing.
Support testing of continuous application updates, upgrades, and hotfixes.
Provide first class service and support of existing processes & systems
Advise business partners engaged in merger, acquisition, and divestiture projects
Connect with IT and business peers to ensure end to end solution optimization
Support the startup processes of new lines, plants, contract manufacturers, and customer service facilities

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in CIS (Computer Information Systems), MIS (Management Information Systems), or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
Experience with software application development (Java, Python, Other Scripting)
Experience with Linux (i.e., RedHat, Ubuntu)
Business systems analyst experience – strong mix of technical and functional skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
Demonstrated ability to partner with business and design technical solutions
Continuous Improvement – strong curiosity to find root cause, drive out waste and identify synergies
Project Management - self managing, results oriented, can manage multiple priorities

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Blue Yonder Warehouse Management or other WMS experience
Database Experience with Microsoft SQL
Windows Server and Application configuration experience
Ansible or similar automation platform experience
GCP or other cloud hosting provider experience
