ASIC Engineer, Design Responsibilities

Build successful world-class complex SoC and IP for data center applications

Responsible for micro-architecture development, front-end and back-end standard cell ASIC development (including silicon architecture, micro-architecture, RTL development, Design Verification, synthesis, and post-silicon validation)

Operate computer-assisted engineering design software or equipment to perform electronics engineering tasks

Evaluate project work to ensure effectiveness, technical adequacy, or compatibility in the resolution of complex electronics engineering problems

Analyze electronics system requirements, capacity, cost, or customer needs to determine project feasibility and inspect electronic equipment, instruments, products, or systems to ensure conformance to specifications, safety standards, or applicable codes or regulations

Minimum Qualifications

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation. Experience must include 36 months of experience in the following:

RTL development using Verilog, System Verilog or HLS

Architecture exploration

Micro-architecture design and development

Lint, CDC, Synthesis, & Power Optimization

CPU, NOC, Memory or Peripheral Subsystems

Synthesis, Timing Closure and Formal Verification Methodology

TCL, Python, Perl, or Shell-scripting

Working with complex control and data path IPs
