Purpose and Objective:  

Ariba, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Plano, TX location and various client sites nationwide responsible for driving business process consulting by translating customer business processes into IT solutions, including quality assurance.

Expectations and Tasks: 

Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Provide support end-to-end solution design across all relevant solutions (OnPremise, Cloud and Hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of SAP Model Companies for specific area of business. Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools. Support of pre-sales activities. Perform feasibility studies / solution reviews. Support in escalated projects. Take over responsibility from time to time as a (sub-)project lead. Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience. 

Work Experience: 

Experience must involve 4 years in the following: Conduct kick off workshops, business requirement gathering, deep dive design workshops, analyze as-is and to-be process, blue print, scope definition, design documentation, functional specifications, integration specifications, process configuration, system integration, test plan, cutover, project management, and signoff; Application implementations and rollouts and support the user community as a subject matter expert in source to pay process adhering to procurement, information technology and security policies of multiple business firms; Complex system design & integration, global implementation, rollouts, version upgrades, production support, transition, consolidation, data rationalization, and business process reengineering; Ariba On premise expertise , SAP Ariba On Demand (Cloud) expertise including solutions like buying, invoicing, contract management, supplier information and performance management, supplier lifecycle, Ariba Network, Guided Buying, Cloud Integration, Cloud Integration Gateway, Ariba Catalogs, and Strategic Sourcing; Domain expertise in Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, eRequisitioning and eInvoice, Automation, Sourcing and Contract Management, and Catalog Management; SAP Ariba Source to Pay Processes with Ariba Object model; SAP Ariba Applications Integration - Ariba Buying and Invoicing with SAP ECC, S/4 HANA and Oracle ERPs using different integration methods like Integrated Tool Kit, Webservices method, Cloud integration 9, and Cloud integration gateway channels; Techno-functional expertise in design and build of SAP Ariba solutions, develop customizations, configurations, eforms, parameters, workflows, flex master tables, relation entries, custom fields, and aml changes to meet business processes and requirements; Develop functional and technical design documents; Create new dashboards and visualizations to provide insight into underlying business reports; SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall project methodologies assisting customer in various phases of solution development and deployment; Supplier Enablement to integrate suppliers ERP systems with Ariba using cXML , EDI , PIDX technologies; Set up sourcing and contract templates; Ariba Catalog design; C, C++, Java, XML, HTML, PL/SQL, RosettaNet, web services, AQL; ERP and middle ware components like SAP ECC, JD Edwards, PI, EI, TIBCO, S/4 Hana and integrating with Ariba solutions; and Field Glass, Amalto, Remedy, Visio, Advanced MS Office, Connect Direct, Putty, Toad, Ultra Edit, beyond compare, Eclipse, SoapUI, HP ALM QC, HP SDM, Agile Scrum, Pega, Solution Manager, Maximo, SSA, Tibco. Experience must also include: SAP Activate methodology; Design and build Guided Buying tiles, landing pages, policies, translations and set up tactical sourcing and adhoc forms; Ariba Network design, configure network rules, entitlements ; CSV invoicing and tax invoicing design and build; Build custom forms to capture user requirements, add conditions, object mappings and approval flows; and SAP Certification in SAP Ariba Procurement, Ariba Integration, SAP Ariba Catalogs, and SAP Ariba Buy Side Integration with Cloud Integration Gateway. 80% travel to various client sites nationwide required.
