What will you gain from this role?

Drive global procurement strategy for chemicals & gases in support of wafer fab & assembly/test manufacturing.

Exposure and influence to key business decisions within TI during a rapid growth cycle.

Master negotiation strategies to drive TI leverage & total cost of ownership reduction.

Develop deep knowledge of TI legal contract structure and risk management.

Regular exposure and engagement with TMG & WPL organization leadership.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinating purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner

Working with management to address all aspects of commodity management, including procurement support commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability

Seek opportunities to drive value for TI through supplier negotiations and strategic fab qualifications.

Identification, development, and qualification of new suppliers and supply chains compliant with various requirements such as RBA, Supply Chain Responsibility, and TI process specifications.

Motivate suppliers for continuous improvement in CETRAQ categories.

Responsible for defining and executing projects to achieve organizational priorities globally; such as material risk assessments in support of operational assurance of supply.

Seek continual improvement in business continuity planning & supplier risk assessments and mitigation.

Drives suppliers to implement a Zero Defect culture & mindset in their materials and services.

Support the CPQT supplier audits as appropriate to ensure suppliers meet and/or understand TI's quality expectations.

Support One Make cost and engineering team initiatives.

Participate in monthly Chem/Gas/CMP CPT team calls with our international counterparts.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field

3 years of relevant experience

Workplace Expectations:

Current work environment is classified as hybrid: Work from home (remote) and with weekly in person working expectations

Subject to change over time towards more in person working with flexibility

Possesses a solid foundation in TI Business Processes, wafer fab operations, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Understands supply chain and provide analysis of market issues (i.e. constraints), assess and anticipate risk, and implement proactive mitigation with appropriate urgency

Strong team and people skills with the ability to lead and participate in local and global teams

Capable of communicating and presenting (verbal and written) complex problems concisely to all levels within TI and supplier organizations, from engineers up to senior of TI leadership to influence decisions
