Business-Unit Financial Analyst:

Amazon is seeking data-driven, business-minded, results-oriented financial analyst interns to work in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter with strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to dive deep. Responsibilities include preparation and reporting of financial performance for weekly, monthly, and annual reviews. Producing meaningful operational metrics to help drive performance and achieve business objectives, and applying financial acumen and technical understanding to provide insights on growth, profitability, capital investment, and cash flow.

Must be able to work 40 hours a week throughout the course of the internship.
Term: 12 weeks during the summer of 2023. Students will be able to select from the internship dates below. Start date is not flexible.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in finance, economics, accounting, business administration and management, or related field (or a dual degree/submatriculation Master’s degree program you are completing concurrently with your bachelor’s degree at the same school) with a graduation conferral date between December 2023 and June 2024.
Able to work 40 hours a week throughout the course of a 12-week summer internship between May through September 2023.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Intermediate/ (e.g., vlookup)/advanced Excel skills (e.g., Write/edit VBA).
Strong academic, leadership, and/or extracurricular record. 
Understanding of business fundamentals and accounting concepts.
Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication with a keen focus on delivering business results. 
Demonstrated track record in using data and metrics to make decisions and build scalable solutions. 
Ability to influence across all levels of an organization. 
Ability to act strategically and make decisions under ambiguity. 
Strong organizational and time management skills.
