Responsibilities:

Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical equipment in a safe manner within a Hexacomb packaging manufacturing facility, including but not limited to: motors (all types), starters, breakers, transformers, isolation switches, relays, fuses, resistors, air conditioning, valves, AC Drives, and DC Drives.  Electrical equipment of varying voltages, including but not limited to 0V through 480v.

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic mechanical systems including valves, solenoids, and manual and automatic controls, which includes but is not limited to glue systems and production heating systems.

The maintenance department’s main objective is to support the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility by providing technical services in the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, and functional improvement of all current and newly installed machinery while excelling in customer service and professionalism; ensuring our customers get the quality, consistency, and responsiveness they deserve.

Basic Qualifications: 

High School diploma or GED.

2+ years of electro-mechanic experience within a manufacturing environment.

Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.

Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.

Demonstrated experience with Automation Controls (PLC Hardware and Software); NEC and NFPA70E.

Must provide own set of tools. (Specialized tools will be provided by the company.)

Familiar with mechanical and electrical test equipment, which includes meters, micrometers, calipers, alignment tools, etc.

Previous experience with process flows, machinery, and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic and hydraulic pumps, motors, other pneumatic systems and valves, other hydraulic systems and valves, conveyor systems, air compressors, IR heaters and controllers, large rotating equipment, and other continuous process equipment.

Ability to work any available shift; as well as overtime.

Pay and Benefits: 

Pay range $23.02 to $33.37 based on skills and experience

1.5 pay on holidays, plus additional overtime over 8 hours on holidays
