Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Business Line Financial Planning and Analysis team focusing primarily on forecasts, budgets, and profitability analysis.  The position can be located in Salt Lake City or Houston with a 3/2 hybrid work schedule. 

The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to:

Create and analyze financial statements and other financial documents or data to aide management in decision making process.
Complete analysis in one or more of the following areas: cost analysis, profitability, pricing, valuation, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, or reconciliation utilizing related analytical practices, principles, applications, and methods.
Develop resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity, networking, and financial best practices.
Prepare financial planning reports of key performance indicators, ad hoc analysis reports, economic valuations, and cost benefit information.
Interact with senior finance management and business line leadership across the organization.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in accounting, finance, or another business-related field.
2-4+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting or other directly related experience.
A combination of education and experience may meet the requirements, previous experience in Financial Services a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prepare oral and written reports.
Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work on their own and as part of a team; works effectively with co-workers and internal customers.
Ability to identify, research, coordinate, and resolve issues.
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) required.
Experience with SQL and Power BI a plus.
Experience with Hyperion Essbase or similar planning/reporting tool a plus.
