Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Planning and execution of multiple business and strategic projects supporting profitability improvement for Home Services In Home. This position leads projects, initiatives and forms partnerships with internal business partners for the improvement of assigned expense categories.
JOB SCOPE: National and local focus on operational expense line responsibilities for the In Home business including support for up to 4000 technicians and 300 support associates throughout the United States and Puerto Rico; with a budget of $525M in revenue and $490M in expenses.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establishes aggressive improvement goals and financial targets for each assigned expense category based on business goals and performance indicators for each quarter and for the year
• Performs a forensic review of P&L expense lines and identifies opportunities (short term fixes as well as long term project opportunities)
• Establishes and Leads cross functional teams within each assigned area of responsibility by consistently asking for input from the business and ensuring that the operations team holds a place on key projects and initiatives
• Provides complete organizational management for assigned projects by ensuring that there are milestone meetings and updates weekly to the field around progress and/or any roadblocks that need to be addressed
• Coordinates project planning from the initial proposal stage through valuation analysis, resource planning, through project administration to project completion
• Performs post-implementation cost/benefit reviews and documents lessons learned during project administration and recommends necessary actions based on analysis
• Provides creative leadership for process improvement across all aspects of In Home and Home Services
• Trains field leadership and cooperates with other functional managers as necessary to achieve efficient implementation of each project's goals
• Enlists corporate and field personnel as necessary to investigate the potential for expense or operational improvement
• Develops and deploys national and local level reporting & other capabilities to identify and correct breakdowns in process that negatively affect profitability or customer service metrics

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Experience in multi project management with a large company
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Strong relationship building capabilities - ability to motivate and energize others to achieve results without direct authority
• Advanced knowledge of project management tools-
• Advanced knowledge of quality improvement principles, tools and techniques (structured problem solving, process mapping and capacity and resource planning)
• Strong analytical aptitude with exposure to both financial valuation and process optimization • Advanced software skills (statistical, database, spreadsheet, word processing, general graphics)
• Moderate understanding of mainframe database structures and processing
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Master's in Business Administration (MBA)
• Project Management Certification (PMP)
