Responsible for providing comprehensive legal services (including commercial, transactional and regulatory) to support all aspects of the Company’s wholesale business and operations in the United States.
Supports Company’s wholesale organization and operations, including fuel supply agreements (unbranded and branded) and for branded transactions, related marketing and ancillary agreements, including vendors, customer offerings and digital solutions.
Drafts, reviews, negotiates and provides analysis and interpretation of a variety of agreements on behalf of designated client groups, with a focus on wholesale development and commercial transactions.
Trains client teams on relevant topics applicable to their business, including anti-trust/competition, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, etc.
Assists in ensuring regulatory compliance related to the above subject matter areas and business units are supported.
Ability to manage external service providers and meet budget commitments.
Timely and accurate management reporting, as required.
This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or higher level degree in a related field required.
Law degree required.
Admitted to the practice of law in the relevant state, or be otherwise eligible to practice law in such state required.
8 years of experience in legal practice required.
Experience with negotiating commercial and transactional agreements and/or interpreting regulatory requirements related to international transactions highly preferred.
Experience with another major public corporation or a law firm preferred.
