This is an hourly position starting at $20.86 at the Sandford, NC facility
As a CI tech, you will support Assembly Manufacturing Engineering in a variety of daily tasks from supporting the production line to assisting on long-term improvement projects: Quick repairs on production line equipment, implement safety measures, and work with assembly technicians on improvement projects.
Job duties may include the following:
Support Standard Work by conducting time studies.
Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work.
Continuous Improvement projects.
Assist with resolution of Safety CI cards.
Help provide tooling support to the line as needed including: Welding, Creform Creation and/or Machining.
Utilizes systems such as Microsoft Office such as Teams, PowerPoint, etc.
Once trained, utilizes 2D and/or 3D modeling software.
Once trained, be able to MIG weld on carts/fixtures.
Relies on independent decision-making and problem solving to complete job tasks.
Cross-functional communication to complete tasks.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Must meet deadlines.

Top Candidates will also have
Mechanical experience such as tool design, auto/home repair, etc.
Prior experience with welding, fabrication and metal working tools
Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
Have or in the process of pursuing a technical degree
Prior experience using 2D and/or 3D modeling software and the ability to read blueprints.
