The Global Distribution recruiting team is looking for a recruiter to support hiring at the mid-professional to senior professional levels - experience recruiting for financial services, asset management and/or Fortune 500 companies is highly desired. This person will act as a recruiting resource and will be responsible for partnering with mid to senior level hiring managers and business partners to seek out, assess, attract and hire the best talent (both internally and externally) for both exempt and non-exempt positions. Ideal applicants will have experience working on recruitment activities that are generally complex and concentrate on more senior level recruitment efforts.
Responsibilities
Partners with mid to senior level hiring managers to establish specific recruitment plans for open positions, consulting with them on the justification and cost of adding/replacing positions. Independently sources and screens/interviews strategically important internal and external applicants and advises mid to senior level hiring managers on hiring decisions. Anticipates personnel needs in advance of their occurrence. Manages complex recruitment activity, and approaches sourcing process creatively using innovative techniques.
Independently manages applicant flow from beginning of process (open requisition) to end (hire chosen applicant and reject all others), communicating with managers, HR Business Partners and candidates/applicants throughout the process. Facilitates internal mobility on specific hiring efforts.
Partners with Compensation, HRMM and hiring manager to develop terms of offers (e.g. compensation packages). Extends and negotiates offers of employment with candidates. May assign tasks to less experienced professionals.
Partners with business communities to further recruiting priorities and contributes to workforce development, including conducting interview skills and resume writing workshops, etc. Acts as a liaison with search firms for all search firm activity. Coordinates all activity between mid to senior level hiring managers and search firms.
Typical Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
5+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred:
Mix of recruiting agency and corporate experience
Professional certifications such as SHRM or PHR
Experience with assessment tools
Experience with Public Speaking
Experience with DEI strategies
Experience with CRM and other active recruitment tools
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role
