Job summary

The IMDb TV team is shaping the future of digital video entertainment. Our mission is to build earth’s most customer-centric ad-supported premium video service and make it trivially easy for hundreds of millions of customers to enjoy. We have learned that customers love IMDb TV so we are looking for a Senior Product Manager who can build on our early success, pioneer new programs for customers, and help define our future.

As a Senior Product Manager you will be a key contributor in defining and then executing the IMDb TV product roadmap. You will work closely with engineering, user research, data science, applied science, design, program management, legal, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products and features to market to enhance our customer experience. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of building new, innovative, and engaging customer experiences that are informed by customer data from various sources (market research, internal data bases, A/B testing, user research). They will have the capability to take on end-to-end ownership of programs and successfully deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. The leader will embrace ambiguity and drive clarity across teams and organizations.

This is very much Day 1 for IMDb TV so you would be joining an entrepreneurial and pioneering team that is building from scratch.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
5+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
Bachelor's Degree
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience delivering digital streaming media
Excellent cross-functional project management skills, written and verbal communication skills, and quantitative data analysis and critical-thinking skills
Direct experience defining products and roadmaps which deliver simple, immersive customer experiences while dealing with underlying complex technical requirements
Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
Experience engaging and influencing senior executives
Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating relevant results to senior management
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing/business counterparts to deliver online products/services
MBA or advanced degree in a related field
