This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Technical Laboratory Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Working with lab technicians in preparing simple formulations.
• Provide technical writing support which may include writing/updating operating procedures as suggested by lab personnel.
• Conducting experiments on clinical analyzers for technical troubleshooting.

• Understanding/knowledge of:
• Basic chemistry/laboratory techniques
• Polyclonal/monoclonal antibodies 
• Principles of immunodiagnostic technology 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel 

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• 2+ years college level classes in Biology, Chemistry or Medical Sciences (rising junior or senior)
• Basic knowledge of chemistry / biochemistry laboratory techniques including pipetting, analytical balance use, liquid formulation preparation.
• Strong work ethic, excellent written and communication skills
• Must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet business needs
• Must have a GPA of 3.2 or better
• Must be comfortable working onsite while adhering to COVID-19 safety protocol, as well as work in a fully virtual environment if necessary
• Must be local to the Newark, DE site (50 miles or less)
• Must have permanent work authorization

Start date: Summer 2022; 2-3 month duration with possibility of extension
