As a Finance Manager, you will be providing financial insights and guidance to the Natural and Insurgent Leadership. You’ll be a strategic Finance partner responsible for the budgets, forecasts, results, reporting, and analytical development. You will engage with multiple levels of personnel throughout our company to get the job done. Together we will shape a stronger future for our company, and your career.

Location: This role could be located in Battle Creek, MI, or Chicago, IL.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Partnerships, Profits, Plans, and Process – We believe in collaboration!  In a consultative capacity, you will interact with the Natural and Insurgent Leadership to ensure financial goals and strategies are achieved, by monitoring and reporting on key financial and non-financial performance indicators specific to commercial and innovation performance, in-market results, gross margins, and product costs.  We are looking for you to deliver and integrate plans for execution excellence as well as develop complex financial analysis insights and solutions.
Ad-Hoc Reporting and Projects – It is about having an Owner’s Mindset.  You will be managing the execution and completion of projects, key due dates, identification of opportunities and risks, and financial metrics.  You will also complete ad-hoc reporting requests.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business-related field
Progressive experience in the Finance field
Strong decision-making, business partnering, and communication skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to collaborate and influence
Analytical experience with proven ability to forecast
Experience with Microsoft Office
Belief in the power of food to make a positive change in people and the world around us 
Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, a servant mindset, and a passion for winning  

Bonus Points:

Master’s Degree in Finance or Business-related field
Consumer Packages Goods Experience is a plus
