Job Description
Under general supervision, this position is responsible to complete high volume, routine accounts payable tasks related to accounting systems and records maintenance for all U.S. and Canadian operations (i.e. invoice entry, purchase order matching, payment approval review and audit, and tax processing, etc.).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform invoice processing, validation/documentation processes, and issue resolution to ensure payments are accurate and timely
Perform statement reconciliation and monthly processes associated with review of open GRIR balances
Support expense reimbursement process as required
Maintain and balance A/P accounts and files on a daily and monthly basis
Support all A/P responsibilities required for period close including reconciliations, preparation of month-end accruals, journal entries and reporting
Assists in the maintenance of controls over accounting systems and records maintenance involved in the accounts payable function to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Responsible to meet department requirements as defined in the Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Support the documentation, reporting and achievement of monthly A/P metrics as defined by the Finance Shared Services dashboard
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s / Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent strongly preferred
2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting or equivalent financial function preferred
Proficiency with personal computers and associated word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software; experience with S4, EDI and EFT preferred
Strong communication skills required (both verbal and written)
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
