Fixed Assets - 40%

Perform ongoing fixed asset maintenance

Review invoices for accurate coding

Release and add budget to projects when approved

Work with business partners to assist with creation of new projects

Assist with settlements and posting of depreciation expense

Set up prepaid assets in the system, add budgets, and release new projects as needed

Maintain supporting documentation for fixed and prepaid assets

Help find solutions, improve/streamline processes

Accounting - 30%

Prepare and book standard periodic journal entries and non-standard entries for adjustments determined to be necessary through account reconciliation and analysis

Prepare monthly General Ledger account analysis and reconciliation for assigned accounts

Analyze assigned revenue and expense accounts to ensure accuracy of monthly results

Analysis & Reporting - 20%

Assist business partners with inquiries related to prepaid assets

Analyze and research financial information pertaining to fixed assets for department and Business Partners

Research and obtain supporting documentation for variances in a limited number of balance sheet and expense accounts

Prepare cost center reporting for assigned areas

Work with business partners to help address all reconciling items

Perform queries and provide management with complete and accurate financial analysis/reports

Other - 10%

Support the closing calendar timelines for assigned tasks and communicate issues accordingly

Work with internal/external auditors to provide documentation to support our financial data

Participate on special projects as assigned

Support the Tax department providing requested support for tax audits

Experience and Skills

Self-motivated team player, with a strong sense of urgency

Pro-active self-starter with good time management skills

Able to handle confidential company financial and operational information in a responsible manner

Committed to meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables regardless of the obstacles (overtime, nights and occasional weekends may be required as needed)

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity working with General Ledger applications; experience with SAP and HFM a plus

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required

Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required

Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 GPA or higher strongly preferred) at time of graduation

Required to have graduated within 6 months of class start date

Must be able to start in the role full-time by June 2022
